Accountant subscriptions
- Cancel any time from your account page (Billing). You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
MTD Match subscriptions are for businesses and organisations (including sole traders buying for their trade), not consumers, so the 14-day consumer cancellation period doesn't apply. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law.
MTD-Ready Spreadsheet Kit (£19) and Kit + Walkthrough (£49)
These are digital products you can download straight away. When you buy, you ask us for immediate access and acknowledge that your 14-day right to cancel ends once your download is available (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 37), and we confirm this in your receipt email. If the workbook doesn't open or work as described, email us within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund you in full. This doesn't affect your legal rights if the workbook is faulty. When a refund is issued, the download link and walkthrough switch off automatically. The deadline reminders included with the walkthrough can be stopped at any time.
Practice plans and enquiries (business customers)
Payments aren't refundable, except an enquiry with clearly false contact details returned from your portal within 7 days (or withdrawn by the person within 7 days, before you'd contacted them). Cancel a plan any time from the billing portal; it ends at the end of the month you've paid for.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Once we've sent a refund, it normally shows on your statement within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
